Wrinkle relaxers include popular brands like Botox and Dysport, among others. Often the first noticeable signs of aging in the face are fine lines and wrinkles. These can begin to appear in our early 20’s and progress depending on a variety of factors. Wrinkle relaxers are one of the first lines of defense. They work by blocking chemical signals from the nerves, temporarily relaxing the muscle, and effectively minimizing or preventing those pesky wrinkles.
Sculptra is a Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) injectable which stimulates collagen production. It helps with lines, wrinkles, and volume loss. Results are natural and gradual, and typically last 2+ years. 2-3 treatments needed, using 1-2 vials per treatment.
Dermal fillers are gel injections generally made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in our bodies. They work by replacing volume lost due to aging, filling deep lines and wrinkles, plumping areas like the lips for fuller or enhanced shape, lifting soft tissue like the cheeks or jawline, and enlarging features to create balanced facial proportions.
Improves the appearance of fat under the chin (submental fat), also called “double chin.” It is administered as a series of injections to the treatment area under the chin, permanently destroying fat cells. The number of treatment sessions will vary based on the amount of fat under the chin and your treatment goals. Typically 2-3 vials are needed per treatment, and a total of 2-3 treatments.
PRP stimulates growth factors that help regenerate collagen and elastin. It can be added on to microneedling of the skin as an additional treatment. Also called a vampire facial, the platelets and plasma from your own blood are used to speed recovery and significantly boost results. PRP can treat more advanced signs of aging. After treatment you will notice significantly firmer skin, better moisture retention, and improved skintone and texture. Additionally, PRP can be used in many other areas—such as the scalp for hair restoration or under the eyes (tear troughs) to help with dark circles, skin tightening and overall appearance.
Microneedling is performed with a small handheld device filled with tiny needles. The process creates microscopic punctures in the skin that prompt the skin to regenerate collagen through “dermal remodeling”. It is great for treatment of acne scars or other scarring, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, large pores, fine lines and wrinkles and so much more.

Hey, I’m Emily, your Physician Assistant Injector.
For my first five years as a Physician Assistant I practiced emergency medicine in the ER and Urgent Care. Feeling ready for a new challenge, but still wanting to put my medical experience to use, I decided to get trained as an Aesthetic Injector. Through that training I truly found my passion. I have been able to combine my extensive medical experience and knowledge of the human body with injecting to help clients get their dream results. I consistently attend advanced trainings with the goal of providing my clients high-quality services and the best injection techniques.

I can't rave enough about my results so far! Emily is the REAL DEAL folks!! Not only is she the sweetest (not to mention adorable!) PA Injector, she really listens to your concerns, extremely patient and is excellent at evaluating your overall appearance ensuring the end result turns out fabulous! I couldn't be happier with my results and can't wait to see the final outcome after I heal completely! I am only 2 days post Botox and lip filler, have virtually NO bruising and feel AMAZING! Thank you Emily...see you soon for my follow up. #1 - (in her office) pre & post injections. #2- 1 day after. #3- 2nd day after (today).

Emily was such a fantastic injector! She has such a friendly and welcoming personality that made me feel very much at ease. In addition to being a very skilled injector (I had zero bruising after), Emily gave great aftercare instructions, which helped to get the best results quickly. My Botox had full effectiveness within just a few days and was an amazing confidence boost. Worth noting is that I have severe anxiety, which Emily was incredibly understanding about. She was great at keeping conversation going to distract me from the needles and very patient when I needed a few little breaks. That kind of caring attitude means a lot to me. I highly recommend her services and will be returning in the future!

Emily was very professional, friendly and quick to respond with all of my questions. This is the first time I have used Emily as my injector and it is also the first time I have not had a headache or large bumps at the injection site! I am beyond happy with her service and I will be back. I would highly recommend her!!!

Botox:
Bruising is less common but still possible following injection.
Filler:
Bruising and swelling are normal for several days after injection. Every person is different so the speed of healing will vary. Arnica supplements can help and will be discussed after the appointment. Expect to allow 14 days for full healing. Following pre/post-care instructions, avoiding alcohol, and limiting NSAID use will help to minimize the occurrence and length of side effects.
Type of filler used is client dependent. As your injector, I will make a recommendation based on treatment area, desired results, and overall goals.
Botox:
On average, Botox injections will last 3 months. However, your activity level and individual rate of metabolism will impact that timeframe.
Filler:
Typically, filler results last 9-12 months but will change depending on how quickly your body metabolizes the filler. Some fillers have more longevity with results lasting up to 24 months. Regular touch-ups are recommended to help maintain the desired look.
Botox is an excellent preventative measure for fine lines and wrinkles. Static lines (lines that are present without muscle movement) cannot be removed by Botox but will become less apparent over time. Ideally, clients will begin Botox in their mid-20s to prevent static lines.
